Tanya

Tanya is an accomplished and influential leader with over 25 years’ experience in strategy development and implementation, and managing complex public sector projects and programs across different leadership contexts. Tanya is a trusted advisor to very senior executives and has a reputation for their strong judgement and ability to lead teams to achieve positive outcomes under challenging circumstances.

Tanya is a highly experienced and capable facilitator and change manager, transitioning people through significant initiatives across Australia’s largest government departments.

As acting Assistant Secretary, Tanya led an improved Enterprise Committee Governance Framework redesign and implementation, effectively brokering collaboration and cooperation across Defence’s most senior leaders, including Secretary and Chief of the Defence Force. Tanya also led Services Australia’s governance and stakeholder engagement for the Government’s COVID Economic Stimulus Response, for what will be a highly scrutinised audited program in years to come. This ensured governance compliance for more than 100 policy, process and/or system changes over a six month period.

Tanya is a Fellow of Defence and Strategic Studies at the Australian Defence College, holds a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management and a Diploma in Project Management, and is a certified Prosci Change Practitioner and Scaled Agile Framework v4.0 Agilist.
