This practical workshop helps participants build their skills at influencing others. Good leadership requires strong influence skills. Whether it’s influencing others without authority, influencing change, or influencing your team, the ability to influence is key for leader success. Participants start by assessing their skills at influencing others. They are introduced to a model that outlines the 4 components of effective influence, which includes building a foundation of relationships with others. They learn a variety of influence tactics that can be used to influence others. They then practice these tactics using influence scenarios and apply them to a real-life key influence challenge.
Everything in this workshop is connected to a Key Question: How can we build our ability to effectively influence others across the organisation and beyond?
