Delegating effectively isn’t just telling someone what to do or assigning them tasks. It means giving authority and responsibilities to individuals or a team and providing the resources, direction, and support needed to achieve expected results. This workshop increases participants’ awareness of common barriers to delegation, introduces them to a process to follow when delegating to others, and provides them with a tool to help them determine what tasks to assign to whom. The workshop concludes with a peer discussion of how to address a real-life delegation challenge.
Everything in this workshop is connected to a Key Question: How can we delegate important tasks in a way that better enables others to achieve the expected results?
